Hi im in first year of my second course and i'm completely miserable. I dont enjoy it one bit. I enjoyed secondary school more than this. I did well in my leaving cert and im not struggling at the course but still i dread going in everyday and i dont want to go through another 3 years of this. Has anyone been through this before?

The key thing is finding a course that interests you. Would you say either of the two courses you have started interested you?

What are your interests? Where do you see yourself in a few years? (I feel like an interviewer :D).

Maybe consider taking a year out and get your head around where you want to go/what you want to do.

I don't think what you are feeling is unusual, it happens some students. It is a big jump from 2nd level to college and sometimes, the shock to the system can be overwhelming.
