Why do you want new wheels?

Your current wheels will do as well for racing as the Zeros. Are you racing already? Road races or triathlons?

If you are looking to lose a bit of weight these look like a very good bet for less than the Zeros but unlikely to make much of a difference in a race.

I'd agree with blorg here. Cutting 135g from your wheels for any race in Ireland won't make the blindest bit of difference (although Fulcrum Zeros do look the part).

Aerodynamics will make a bigger difference than weight (and this difference will still be marginal when compared to the differences in rider ability/fitness). On your budget, I'd be considering something like these for racing and keep the Fulcrums for your trip to the continent.

If you haven't raced before, I'd hold off on buying wheels until you've settled in. Better get your crashing in first before splashing the cash.
