This isn't a huge problem (no pun intended etc) but I'm in Dublin city centre & need to get extra large condoms for tomorrow! I've tried a local chemist & a boots but neither could supply, Can anyone suggest somewhere I can get them?
    Jay

I was able to get Durex XLs in Tesco a while back, only time I've ever seen them in Ireland.

Maybe try the company website to buy.

Jay here again - just checked Tesco online to see what they have, no joy. Any other suggestions from anyone would be good - no time for internet delivery :/

Is Condompower still on Dame St? They always stocked Magnum XL. It was opposite Georges St but it is under street level so you need to keep your eyes open for the entrance, don't know if it's still there though.

Eta: According to the Golden Pages it's 57 Dame St. You could try call them in advance and see if they have them.

Ann Summers do them... O'Connell St.

If you're northside, Superdrug (in Omni, Santry) stock the full range of mates as well, they might be worth a shot :) Not sure if they've any other branches about the place!

    Good luck ;)

    Hmmm...

In my professional life I had occasion to deal (from a health point of view!) with other 'professional' ladies. I used to offer them contraception.

The only size related complaints we ever got were that a certain brand of Japanese condom was 'slightly' tight at the base, or that the standard size condom slipped off the more modestly sized gentleman.

The girls maintained they never encountered a member that couldn't be accommodated by the standard durex. I tend to believe their expert opinion as my own backs it up too. An ex of mine was uncomfortably large and had no problem with the standard condom. I've even seen a man on stag party in Temple bar pull a condom over his head and inflate it with his nose.

So OP just how big are you? I'm genuinely curious.

I haven't been with any massively endowed guys, but I have been with one or two for whom regular Durex were simply too tight and caused them discomfort and problems enjoying penetration. Sure, you can inflate one and put it over your head, but I'm not sure that it would be altogether too comfortable... never mind having one pinching your penis.

That's my problem with them, I'm hardly huge but there's a big comfort difference. The XLs are only a millimeter or two bigger on the width, but they feel more stretchy. The end of my doodle just doesn't look right in a regular one, it's very much squished out of shape :P

That'd be my experience too... we're not talking massive Mandingo penis here or anything, it tends to be the wider gentleman who has issues :)

It's entirely a girth issue, ime. The thing is despite an erection being referred to as a 'boner' a penis has no bones and it's hardness is entirely reliant on bloodflow. If the condom is too tight the roll at the base is like an elastic band and it restricts the flow and causes the man to lose his erection.

I don't even have a penis and it's making me cringe. Poor menfolk.

Surely this would do the opposite - and prolong the erection ie trapping the bloodflow in the penis.

    *looking for elastic band*

ive the same problem with regular durex...featherlite in particular just kills my erection. would spend half the time rolling it back up too cause they would slip off

You'd think that, what with that being the function and point of cock-rings and all, but unless that's what you want it's just uncomfortable and uncool, and an irritating distraction.

By the way, that 50-pack looks nifty, I may have to buy a set. It'd sure last, anyway :(

    lol dongs :)
