LCD replacement. Help!

    I broke my laptop recently and I need an LCD replacement for my 17 inch HP Compaq 610. There is a black splurge that looks like ink on the bottom left corner of my screen and lines blocking aroung 3/4 of my view of the screen. Anybody know some cheap places I can get it repaired (North Dublin if possible)? How much do you think it will cost?

    I can offer repair for this but i am based in wexford if it is of any use to you.

    It will cost €175 to repair.

    If you got it repair already would you mind saying how much you paid

    You could probably get a brand new screen for less than €175.

    I dont charge VAT as I am not regestered.

    That is the price for a new lcd screen fitted into your laptop and a 6 month warranty on the screen for dead pixels etc...
