I'm a long-time electric guitar player, but rarely play acoustic. I've been looking into getting an acoustic guitar, both to belt out some chords and to play some more intricate fingerstyle. I have a Yamaha F310 at home but it's my son's, it was cheap but it's decent enough.

I want something that I can plug in to a PA when gigging, but that still sounds good acoustically. I will mostly be playing acoustically, but I want to have the option of using it at gigs.

Budget around €300-€400. I have tried some guitars around that price range with built-in pickups and preamp, and I haven't been impressed. Mostly Yamaha, Takamine, Tanglewood, Epiphone. Are there some good ones out there? Or would I be better off just buying a good acoustic guitar and putting pickups in later?

Takamine G Series: EG330SC, built in Tuner and pickup. Solid top, great sound, nice feel, always well setup. €350 or so I believe.
