    Lads, just to put two cents in here.. be very careful how you reply to this, as you all know the media sometimes look at boards and have quoted posters in the past.

    And yet NAS management insist there is no knife problem and no need for stab vests.

    A stab vest would not have helped a wound to the neck area!!!!!!

    What planet do these people live on to think this way. Thankfully its the exception rather then the norm. In 20 years in Ireland I never needed the ambulance service once. I did however call it several times and was never disappionted in its response for others.

    Paramedics are the closest thing we have in society to guardian angels. There is no way the rest of us can thank you enough for the work you do and the stuff you put up with.

    Sometimes "Thank you" just doesnt say enough.

    isnt he a brave man, pulling a knife on a woman. I wouldnt be able to do that job. Id end up stabbing someone who was annoying me .

    Actions speak louder than words; thank your paramedic by pulling a knife on them ! :D
