Wouldn't be a story if he wasn't an intercounty player.

He also happens to be 100% correct, I am not for one minute condoneing what alledgedly Galvin did or condeming it for that matter, not one of us know the real facts behind what actually happened, but if this was a regular non high profile teacher it wouldnt even merit a mention in the back of the local rag but becasue the alleged culprit is Paul Galvin its in the national press.

A nothing story that has absolutely zero to do with GAA imo.

nice to see a nautral post this! this is exactly what i was thinking, must have been a slow news paper day. i was punched by a teacher when i was in school, as were many of my class mates, its part and parcel of the life in schools. you just get on with it.

This should have been left on the other forum. A nothing story in GAA terms.

Sensationalism again from the tabloids. This was reported on yesterday in the minor pages of the Independant. He threw a duster (yes a light plastic non lethal object) which rebounded off the wall and hit the student in the head. Not only has that exact same thing happened to me in school, a teacher actually threw one directly at another student. A nothing incident. Teachers get fustrated all the time, but because its Paulie he's made out to be a child beating manic!

I agree. Don't really think this is a thread for here. It's not football based but personality based.
