Yeah three explosive devices were found, and more were being looked for just in case.

Earlier news reports on the radio were saying that two men were being held and questioned on it.

Given the amount of people that would be around the Tesco there, it was just as well that they were found.

My first instinct is that it was yet another attempt at intimidation or worse towards the Collins family, as it would be a big coincidence that the devices were found not far from their bar there. Guess we will have to wait and see if there is a Weston link to the two men arrested.

Is there waste ground behind the shopping center?
Possibly the devices were being stored there and the Gardai were alerted to that fact and had them under surveillance, waiting for the devices to be picked up?

No. Its just an older area with a lot of ground but there are no waste ground areas.

Cross refridgeration operate on those grounds as well on the opposite side of the building to Supermacs with houses backed up to the abbutment wall at the far end of the shopping centre.

They Irish Times have a theory on the pipebombs. Could they be right? I hope not.
What about this new legislation we were promised? Is it not in place? Or is it just useless?
