lads im lookin to get an m4 are g+g ok and is there any other brands you could recomend

G&G come highly recommended...good build quality and reliability. I myself have a JG M4, and have no complaints...however, I bought it when I was starting because I didn't want to spend big money...but with the upgrades and parts, I'm pretty sure it's cost me more than a stock G&G.

DBoys also come highly recommended...full metal bodies are a selling point for people. If you just like the M4 shape, a HK416 might also be up your alley, in which case there's an upgraded JG 416 (it's under a different name than 'JG' though) in SEAirsoft.net which also comes well recommended.

I'm sure someone more experienced and knowledgable will reply and help you a lot more than I can

G&G are truely awesome guns! The plasticas (plastic body) are amazing value and fantastic build quaility. I got a plastica M16 to rip the gearbox and motor (top notch inards that are in fact worth more than the gun costs!) out of but was so impressed with the outside of it that I ended up building another gearbox it so I could use it!

You can get them in hobbyairsoft and eirsoft, both have threads in the retailers section.

That would be the GFC one,I just got one myself this weekend from SE Airsoft.

If im not mistaken thats not a m4...
thats a HK416...
i'd prefer a 416 to be honest

yeah its da gr15 wanted something a little longer than the cqb version for some reason im not to fond on da shorter version thanks vinny:)

very good man, im guessing your living in the swords area then, im in malahide myself.
Redbarn is a great place to play if you havnt already played before,

im in malahide just outside the castle i wish i could skirmish in dat place just got into this after christmas played redbarn bout 5 times already cant get enough goin for a night game in fingal tumorow:pac:

very nice, i played a semi night game in fingal before(it just kinda got dark during our last game) and it was savage coz we were sneaking up the river towards delta base!
good fun in the dark, hope you enjoy yourself
