in the Irish maplin catalogue this is €50 - (nice exchange rate there Mr. Maplin) but still cheaper than peats. you can get them on Ebay for £20

    €89 seems a tad steep.

I've used those SLX ones in the past, they seem to be OK.

More recently, I've used the Labgear MOD111 modulator, which I quite like. Note that this model uses F-type connections as opposed to standard Belling Lee aerial plugs on the SLX one.

Have sold both Philex mod and Labgear in the past
Got some faulty philex back - not got any labgear Mod111's back, you also get a few extras with the mod111, scart adapt etc.

you can pick up Mercury digital modulator channel displays in peats for around 50 quid -

    Just an FYI reply really,

I ended up buying two Mercury ILS102 moderators. The funny thing is that one worked perfectly and the other would display perfectly but couldnt output audio correctly. No sound or constantly buzzing/hissing.

Eventually I found that one modulator was set to UK and the other was set to BG/Western Europe. Once I set the station country to Western Europe then the audio worked perfectly.
