    Hi all,

Is there a threshold you have to earn to be charged the income leaving?

I started working last September so I only got 4 months wages, so is it possible to claim back the Income Levy for last year?

Yes- you are entitled to a refund if your earnings for the entire calendar year are less than €15028.

    That's great - thanks a mill.

Do I just send the revenue my P60 or what documentation is needed to claim it back?

I'm not entirely sure but I'd say definitely your P60 would be required.

You could take the opportunity to check that you've got all your various tax credits eg refuse charges/ union fees/ rent allowance/ tax relief for pensions or income continuance premia/ medical or dental expenses etc.

Bring as much as you have re the above and ask the tax office for a review of the 2009 year's liability.
