Delay on redundancy payments

    Hi,
Hoping somebody may be in a position to advise. Ex-employer went into liquidation 2 months ago leaving us with no redundancy pay, holiday pay or notice pay. We were told statutory would be processed immediately but now 2 months later find that this is not the case, that paperwork from liquidator is incomplete. Dept of Enterprise advise that from date forms are registered it will be a minimum of 6 months before we receive any payment. As a result, we will be lucky to receive statutory before the end of summer - one ex-colleague was advised it could even be Christmas. Notice and holiday pay will most likely take even longer as these are tied up in the liquidation process.
Liquidator blaming department but we've been advised that while paperwork is there, it is incomplete and therefore 100% the fault of the liquidator - who are not proving easy to deal with!
Is there anything we can or should do to try and get things moving, or do we have no option other than to wait?
    Any advice appreciated,
    Thanks .

Contact Citizens Information immediately and get advice on this. I've heard of this in another case where the company went into receiverhsip and they had to apply through the labour court.
