Football in Brisbane

    Hey,

    Anyone any idea when football starts up in Brisbane? I know the hurlers are starting up Saturday evening but does anyone know anything about the fotballers or what team would be the best to joing even?

    The season usually starts around March and runs throught till Sept. I would reccomend playing for Souths GAA. I played for them back in 2004 great bunch of lads and got me sorted with work. www.gaelicfootball.com.au should point you in the right direction SOUTH'S GAELIC FOOTBALL CLUB

    You still looking for a club to play with in Brisbane?

    As I'm involved with a club, I'll suggest you join ours. :)

    Our club is Brisbane Harps. At the moment there is a pre season competition on, playing every Saturday at the QGFA grounds in Willawong.

    If you just come along and make yourself known to us, you'll get a run out on the day. We have two teams playing in the competition so we have room for more players. :)
