    Right so im getting a grant n hoping to go on holidays for about a week.. just wondering would this affect my grant payment for that month?

    Yes, it will.
    VEC officers monitor your monthly attendance. You miss a certain number of classes a month and your grant gets decreased.

    this is what i thought but some people in my class have missed a lot of lectures and have still recieved there full grant!!:rolleyes:

    You probably just think they missed a lot of lectures. I've been in the situation of panic and dilemas thinking my grant was cut because I felt I missed far to many classes, but you'd be suprised how things work out at the end of the month. You've go so many classes that it's near impossible to miss to allowance, unless you've got a dedication problem.
