The Insight is now on sale for €22,378, that's over €3,500 cheaper than the other display of magnificance the Toyota Prius!

Ok, I will run away very quickly now:o!

The Prius is a much bigger car though, pretty much a class above the Insight.

And by all accounts the Insight is useless.

I think you may have been missing my point somewhat;).

But yeah the Insight is meant to be really bad alright. The new Prius is based on the RAV4/Arse(Auris)/Corolla though and supposedly it is better to drive than before.

    Ahhh *doffs cap*

The new Prius is kind of a secret shame of mine to be honest. Not going to be buying one but I am beginning to see the point of them more and more as I age.

And yes, I realise I will now have to think about purchasing a BMW or Skoda Superb to fit back in to the Motors forum.

    Chauffe, Marcel, chauffe!

There's decent diesels out there that are bigger, cost less to buy and are cheaper to fuel. We all know that here, but I bet it won't be easy to convince the average American :D

Most people get wiser as they get older, but I suppose that doesn't apply to everybody :p
