New Uncharted 2 DLC Out Tomorrow

For existing fans, well… we have a special treat in store for you as well. The guys at Naughty Dog have spoken to a few of their friends at Guerilla Games, Insomniac Games and Sucker Punch Productions, and have been able to a pull off something unique within the UNCHARTED 2 competitive multiplayer modes – their first DLC release is the UNCHARTED 2: Among Thieves PlayStation Heroes Skin Pack!

The ‘PlayStation Heroes’ pack will give you the chance to run and gun through the UNCHARTED 2 online multiplayer maps with some Sony PlayStation favourites! The pack includes seven incredible character skins, where you can battle it out as good Cole, evil Cole or Zeke from inFamous; tear it up as Sgt Nathan Hale or a Chimera Hybrid soldier from the Resistance series; and defeat your enemies as a Helghast Trooper or Tomas “Sev” Sevchenko from Killzone 2.

Both will be available to download from PSN when the store is updated on the 28th January (the demo is, of course, free and the PlayStation Heroes pack will be €4.99). In the meantime check out the Heroes screenshots!

TBH I was disappointed when I heard about this.

It is a bunch of skins, that's it. I was hoping for some new maps at the very least, or some new gameplay modes.

Can't see myself paying a fiver for it, i have the Marco Polo and Genghis Khan skins which beat the 'heroes imo :P

There is a content pack 2 and 3 coming with new maps. This news only concerns the first pack. The second DLC pack, dated February 25, adds two maps, one of which is based on the first Uncharted's "Ruins" area, and multiplayer models of the first game's Nate, Elena, Atoq Navarro, Eddy Raja, Roman Gabriel, and a mercenary. The third DLC pack, available April 15, adds a new co-op multiplayer mode, along with four new maps and five new character skins.

I won't be buying this, I'll wait for the inevitable bundle.

All the sites were reporting the skins for a fiver which was silly.

Skeley skin > these really, much like with LBP, little interest in paying for skins.
But nice to have someone from SCEE here

Hey Mr Richard Yap how do I pass the mission with that snow man monster, I paid about 50 quid for the game and can't kill the bastard.

You don't try to kill it, just run around in circles, running and gunning at it. Eventually there will be a cutscene and that's that!

Really sweet skins, but i wont be paying €5 for them. Looking forward to the new maps though, that will get me back into the game.

Might wait for the inevitable GOTY edition with everything bundled in, I played my flatmates copy, and as much as i loved it i cant justify paying full whack to play a game for a second time, but the DLC and maps will sway me i think

A few pistol shots at it will do, just stay alive for long enough for the cut scene

I paid for this content, it downloaded and installed, 5 euro is hella steep for a skins pack that is not even a meg in size and from what I have read these characters have no voices. Anyway, it installed, but the skins do not show up, apparently this happened to quite a few people, but then there is the dlc region locking issue, which I dont fall under, as I have a pal console and bought a pal Uncharted 2 from the UK, I have rang Sony and they said they will get back to me about it. I emailed ND, the day it came out, havent heard anything back. Done, the usual, redownloaded it, installed again, still dont show, apparently the copy with the code BCES 00727 is having this issue.Also got the Eye Of Indra with skins pack, and only one of the two skins show for that, Cameraman Jeff, the other chick doesnt, and still hasnt appeared. Cant get any answers from anyone on these issues it seems, have never had any issues with other dlc before now.

Anyone else in the same boat with this title? Cheers.
