Hi all,
I am single living alone and in receipt of JSA and rent allowance. In january '09 my rent allowance was E463.70, in April '09 it dropped to E442.00 and sometime later it dropped to E381.30. Now I got the receipt yesterday for January '10 and it has dropped to E356.00. In a single year this equates to a drop of over 23% in the year, is this correct or has there being an error made. I was not aware that rent allowance had been subject to any change following the 2010 budget ?
