last night i was watching the stone cold dvd. was watch the match frim wm 17 stone cold vs the rock.

what was so anoying about it was that they blurred out the old wwf logo from the ring post and camera men etc.

it was hard watching the mact with all this blurry stuff up.

can't they just work out some thing with the world wildlife federation that they could just use the logo on dvds for the older matches

This has been a standard on WWE DVD's for quite some time but if you want unblurred then get the "Tagged Classics" range of PPV DVD's. If you buy those DVD's then all the logos are unblurred, the WWF in the commentary isn't gapped out and there are no other edits. It still affects all the regular DVD sets like the 3 disc sets.

I noticed this but I never quite understood it myself. How come they blur the logo on some dvds but not others?

+1 fair enough watching it on youtube or whatever but when you've actually payed for it, you think the WWE would make it a little more incognito

afaik the deal is with US dvds like the official WWE releases they cant show the old scratch logo, but the tagged classics are produced in the UK by silvervision so it doesnt apply to them, its a pity silvervision use the old VHS transfers for a lot of the older ppvs as the pic quality is awful on some of them, Summerslam 98 looks like it was recorded off a badly tuned tv channel, the sound is shyte as well
