Myself and me bro have a interest in the Airsoft but where is the best place for beginners to give it a go? And whats the entry level costs?

May seem like silly q's but any suggestions would be appreciated :D

Entry level costs vary depending onthe type of rifle you want to buy.

You can buy a decent entry level gun for about €150 and get everything you need.

Everything after is extras and can be accumulated over time.

I'd advise you have a look at your local site, go out and ask the owner can you spectate. You can see how the game works, how people play it, but also you can see the equipment and preferences used by players.

You will also ( if you ask first ) be more then able to handle some equipment and try it out.

Some sites offer rental packages where you can sample the game by playing, the equipment is decent, but more importantly you get experience of playing.

Then you can check one of your local retailers (spoiled for choice) and see what you like online.

Then you can go into the stores, handle equipment and get quality advice.

Then go play milsim !!! :P

    Hi and welcome.

Any site would be a good place to start and give you a feel for the game.
Find the closest to you and go along.

It would be easier just to hire the equipment at your local site, even just for your 1st shoot.

There are plenty of shops (online and walk in shops) in the retailers section.

Lots of lovely info for the newbie here.

Always needs people to add to it though!

This is a lot of info off everyone so thanks very much!!

I know obviously there's a heavy amount of shooting but the strategic end appeals to me a great amount.
