Heading on a three night break to Iceland in February - have never been just wondering if anyone has any tips on what I need to bring? what to wear etc? Don't wanna bring too much or forget anything! Would around 500 be enough spending money?

Just bring a credit card card. No cash required!
When I lived there I would actually buy a litre of milk in my local shop with plastic... its perfectly normal. I had friends visit me for a week and they didn't need cash at all. Icelanders love plastic. For small transactions, just swipe and go... no pin numbers or signing!

BTW, 500? Depends on if you do tours - they are not cheap - and also how much you drink ;) There are plenty of reasonbly cost places to eat and you almost never pay into bars or clubs, even at 4am!

Been there a few times. Once in November and again for New Year. It will be cold but nothing more than we had here at beginning of the year. Was 2 years ago when I was last there. Economy has changed so I dont know how expensive it is now. Was really expensive back then but I believe that has changed
