    Chevrolet Ireland Site

They're only offering the Captiva, Aveo and Epica now. Have they given up on the Lacetti and Matiz altogether?

Very surprised. Still no sign of the Cruze coming here either - even though they're selling beyond expectation in Europe..!

The Lacetti is still on my trusty updated Chevrolet price sheet as of this week....

The econobox crowd will. I'm saying no more.

To be honest they could probably stop selling those three models too without most people noticing. I can't understand who would buy a pretend Chevrolet with all the pretty good cars on sale at the moment. Who decides that they would take an Aveo over a Fiesta/Polo/almost every other supermini.

Surely if you don't like cars and your old Rover 45 or Almera has died and you really want to go Korean then you could take a look at the decent cars Kia and Hyundai are selling, or just buy a Toyota.

Chevrolet are imported by the same crowd who import Ssangyong and Nissan, who sell us the Tilda/Tiida or whatever the hell that small POS of a car is called.

Why are you surprised that they haven't brought in the Cruze yet?

Didn't know that fact. That said; the Cruze would be the only decent car Chevrolet would have on offer.

Shame they'd prefer the Tiida over it.

Ssangyong's website backs up what I'm saying:

"SsangYong Ireland is part of the consortium headed by its Executive Chairman, Gerard A. O'Toole whose automotive interests and brands include Nissan Ireland , Chevrolet Ireland , and the Windsor Motor Group, Ireland 's largest car retailer"

Who happen to be known as Nissan Ireland. ;)

Chevrolet are undergoing a bit of a change here at the minute - I have been told that the Cruze will be here at some stage, but god only knows when.

The Tiida is being phased out over here AFAIK due to the poor sales.
