Assessment by the teaching council

    Hello,

I have a degree in Communication Studies from DCU, which included three years of studying photography. I want to apply for the Art Education h-dip in NCAD, but I have to pay the teaching council €200 first to assess my degree. They will then tell me if I am allowed to apply or not. Has anyone else been in a similar situation? It's a lot of money to pay without any guarantee that they will allow me to apply.

    Thanks,
    D

Be careful...I know little about Art but would be surprised if 3 years of Photography qualified you to become an Art teacher,I suppose trying to get on the course to become one might be different... ....Id wait for more opinions before handing over that 200...The TC are notorious for taking money and giving little or nothing in return ...
