Put your questions to Paul McGrath

    Hey all

Paul McGrath is the guest of the National College of Ireland tomorrow for one of their Legends In Your Lunchtime talks at lunchtime, in association with Newstalk and MetroHerald.

It's a public interview by Eoin McDevitt, recorded for Newstalk and at the end of the interview there'll be space for questions and that's where you come in.

This won't exactly be a Q&A just for Boards.ie, but there's a chance that if the questions are good enough, Paul might agree to do a specific one. Absolutely no guarantees, but given the reception by both John O' Shea and Damien Duff to the last ones, it's a possibility.

I'm throwing it open for questions to you now and will ask ones that aren't brought up in tomorrow's interview and feed back to you how it went.

Sure we'll give it a go and see, eh?

    Darragh

Do you know that Villa fans refer to you as "God"??

Also what do you think of the Villa fan song about you? (Paul McGrath my lord)?

Are you happy to see Richard Dunne playing in your place at Villa?

    Cheers

Would you consider doing a bit of punditry for setanta or sky it would be great to get the insight of a man a legend in the game. (hed be ten times better then some of the muck out there  )Or would you consider coaching someone as good as you would be valued by any coaching staff.

At least someone appreciates the best player (imo) that i have ever seen play for Ireland. For those three tackles against Baggio alone, he will always be a legend!!!

Paul Mcgrath, you inspire me, you absolute legend!!!

    Dear Paul,

You are a very modest man but was there ever a game where you knew you had played brilliant? What was your favourite game to play in?

How did it feel to win the PFA Player of the year in 1993? Was it unexpected?

What do you think of Richard Dunne?

What defenders stand out to you in world football at the moment?

    P.S. Your book is brilliant.

Did you find it hard to adapt to the pace of the game when you first went over to England. Also what seperates Fergie from other managers in the premiership

do ya remember when i served you a pint in a bar a few years ago :pac: top guy, he looks big on TV, but when you meet him IRL hes huge

Question; Do you still go to some villa park games? How do you feel when the crowd still chant your name?

I had hoped to be able to log in to put a question the the great man himself but tbh it would have been similar to Villain's question below id say if id got the chance plus adding in the question about how he thinks Villa will do this season which im sure he got asked anyway.

is there a transcript of what he said/was asked available anywhere?
