please recommend a laptop suitable for the following

    im looking to buy a laptop or netbook if suitable which can be used for

    open office, online course work, music(good sound), movies and football streaming(16:9 ratio preferable), windows 7 64bit if 4gb ram

    I would like it to have the following connectivity
    3-4 usb ports + firewire, hdmi + vga and maybe an s-video out, wireless N
    preferable and a decent card reader, bluetooth

    there is a chance i can pick up a machine similar to below but these machines are end of life now. are there better models out there now
    Lenovo N500 Core2Duo T6400 3GB 320GB DVDRW 15.4" VistaHP

    hope someone can advise or knows of a machine that is suitable as its difficult to wade through the specs on the many machines.
