    Hi all,

In first year atm, hate the course with a passion! Basicly wanted to know if i drop out of it now and start a new course next year will i have to pay tuition fees next year? Im more then likely going to do the course in the same college.

    Thanks

I think you would have to pay, maybe only half-fees, but definitely some.
Where and what are you studying at the moment?
If at all possible, I would really encourage you to try and stick with it for the rest of the year, even if you don't love your course you can still meet people, have somewhere to go, learn things, etc. And if you're going to change course next year anyway you don't need to get too stressed.
I too was in my first year this year, but dropped out after a month because I felt like I needed a break after the leaving-cert. Things were fine for a while, and I (very luckily) managed to get a job, but I'm already feeling lonley, bored, non-productive, and generally not great when I see my friends off in college having a good time.

Went to the office today to find out everything I wont have to pay anything next year as im moving from a level 7 to a level 7.

Also I have a Job already that will now give me more hours. I really don't like the course at all, just going to give a different course a go next year.
