There's 2 Chinese lunchtime buffets on High Street in Tallaght. The Wei Kee and the Jasmine Leaf. Both under a tenner. Both are gorgeous, too gorgeous in fact since I've been diagnosed with ulcers!:(

Lionel Hutz: Now, Mrs. Simpson, tell the court in your own words what happened after you and your husband were ejected out of the restaurant.
Marge: Well, we pretty much went straight home.
Lionel Hutz: Mrs. Simpson, remember that you are under oath.
Marge: We drove around until three in the morning looking for another open all-you-can-eat seafood restaurant.
Lionel Hutz: And when you couldn't find one?
    Marge: [crying] We... went... fishing.
Lionel Hutz: Ladies and gentlemen of the jury, do these sound like the actions of a man whose had ALL he could eat?

I've eaten there once and I had a bad experience TBH, food was manky, cold and chewy... noodels were muck and the dishes were bland... Dont think i'd go again tbh - (again, could have just been a bad day for them)

Chinese Buffet for 9.90 all you can eat.

All you can eat offers always remind me of Han's conversation with Luke about the price for rescuing Princess Leia in Star Wars.

The reward will be more money than you could possibly imagine...

    I don't know... I can imagine quite a bit...

That is a bit much for a two year old, €3 or €4 would have been more like it.

There's a few Asian buffets beside the Luas tracks on Abbey St, near the junction of Liffey Street. I've never been in either but they've signs up offering all you can eat for €6.99. There's another one up on Moore St, was in it about 6 months ago at dinner time and it was so busy that the food was always fresh and piping hot, which isn't always the case at these buffet type operations. Under food safety law they're supposed to chuck stuff out after (I think) 90 minutes but I'm guessing some push that beyond the limits.

I've heard the one in Stephens Green shopping center is worth going for the view alone, must try it out sometime soon.
