iPhone reception & US sourced iTunes gift cards.

    Hi,

My first post so forgive if I am rehashing old ground.
I have just about decided to make the leap from Nokia to iPhone on O2 contract.
I have two final questions in my head, which if answered would make my decision easier.

    1. Are there issues with reception on iPhone? As I said I would be on O2, but I have heard it said, that in any given spot iPhone reception is likely to be weaker and more patchy than most other standard phones!

    2. If I buy iTunes gift cards in USA, can I use them online from my Irish IP address to purchase music at the USA price per track or album?

    Thanks.

Reception has been fine for me but iPhone was my 1st 3G phone. Apple do not check your IP (probably so that US account holders can make purchases when abroad) so US iTunes gift cards work fine. Just register a new iTunes account with a US address.
