Hi folks got the gnashers cleaned yesterday but for some reason I'm not happy paying €40 for all of 60seconds work.

No exaggeration this guy couldn't get me away quick enough as the waiting room was full.

How long does this process normally last?

40 is a bit cheap for a cleaning. Are you sure you had them cleaned? This sounds like an exam fee and the dentist may have removed some slight stain without charging extra.

Well I Asked him to clean them, and he agreed but it took him under a minute. I have had them cleaned before and if I remember correctly they feel all rough. This time there not??

Hoof are your teeth clean?, is it necessary to continue cleaning process even after all plaque staining has been removed?. I'd agree with Georgie, sounds like you had a check up and the dentist removed whatever staining was there for buttons, if you needed a thorough scale and polish, you would have paid alot more. Your dentist could havce kept you there for longer and charged you alot more if you insisted that he/she kept cleaning beyond what was required. If your teeth were clean when you left the clinic, most people I think would agree, €40 is a fair charge for a check up and clean teeth.
