Assassins Creed 2 won't load

    Stuck it in tonight straight outta the box. Acceped the update and it loads to a screen with a warning not to switch off when the hard drive symbol is showing. Says hit start to begin but nothing happens when I hit start. Deleted the update and tried without it with similar results. :( any ideas what to do next? thanks

    maybe if you can try it in another ps3, it could be a faulty disc.

    Any scratches on the disc? Maybe its the anibus (sp?) trying to tell you something.....

    cheers guys, took it straight from the box, looks brand new. will try to check it
    on another machine but don't really know anyone with one.

    Id bring it back to where you got it before its too late. They can probably check it in store.
