    Hey everyone,

Well my cat smacked my phone out of my hand! grrrrr!
If landed flat on the back of the phone and the screen went white with lots of pink and green lines along it!

Anyone know if this is possible to fix myself or if there is anywhere in the kildare or dublin area that will replair it?

EDIT: Small update, the touch screen seems to still work perfect.
I got a call and slid my finger over the screen to answer which worked fine. So possible only some small part is broken??

It is possible to fix it yourself, not easy, but possible. I did it to an iPhone
3G already following this guide on youtube and using one of these kits.

I got a quote from that large no name phone shop near the bottom of
Talbot street for €100 which I think is ridiculous.

If the LCD (under the glass) is still fine then you should be ok following the guide above.

    Good luck! :)

Techmenders on south Anne Street, Dublin 2 (just off Grafton street) fix them for €70. Haven't used them myself, but sure give'em a bell in the morning. Could hurt...

I used Techmenders on south Anne Street once myself and my brother used them twice for broken iphone screens and they do a very good job and its possible to get the phone back the same day so you dont have to wait to long.
