hi, I friend of mine asked me to create a letter of confirmation that he actually lives at his address. as he's renting from a private landlord who is not very tenant-friendly, landlord requested him to write a letter himself and he will just sign it

can you please let me know what should I put into such a letter? are there any requirements or just a phone no and the property address (and of course landlord's name)

That is actually impersonation and fraud, and both of you could be in trouble if found out.
Why exactly is it so hard for the landlord to write the letter?
Thread locked as discussion of fraud not tolerated in this forum
