Finding myself slipping into depression

Ive been under a bit of pressure at work lately. I can handle it, but im also moving house in a week or two, and although i dont feel stressed by this, it could be adding to my stress levels.

I know i am getting stressed when i start procrastinating, and avoiding work ( such as spending time on boards). the way around this is to just get on with it.

Lately though im just getting really down about issues i dont have any control over. Stuff like the state of the envrionment. Ive always cared about the envrionment, ive become really concerned lately. We, as a species are wrecking the joint. time to change is now, but nobody seems to be listening.
A tipping point is upon us and soon it will be too late to fix the damage.

I just think it would be better if we were all eradacated ( quote from the matrix springs to mind on humans being a virus).

Am i just an overly sensitive idiot, and how do i stop myself worrying about such things that i have zero control over?

Very heavy stuff eh...or just stupid?

    Hi there,

You seem to be concerned about the stress you get under which then makes your mind overly function, lol I get that when i am going too fast with things, it is possible to rearrange things and go at a slower pace if it is effecting you.

Anyway are you interested in any of Eckhart Tolles books 'the power of now' and 'a new earth' there is much discussion about tuning into the present moment, and not allowing our thoughts to take over past and present because it is not real. The EGO makes you want to believe in your thoughts, the present moment sets you free, its really interesting if your into it! All the best.
