you can but an ipod integration kit to fit the stereo you have, other than that it gets pricey...

+1 also very interested in this... I posted on before christmas but got 1 reply warning about selling :(

Anyway as regards how-to I got some info of the Toyota Owners club uk forum that is relevant to our brand of corolla. I'll pm it to you.

Google CTVTYX002 for 05 or newer corollas or CTVTYX001 for older models.

The unit consists of a "box" (not sure whats in it), anyway the lead that comes out of the "box" connects into the cd changer port in the back of the radio, then on the box there is space to plug in a "RCA" lead, so if you buy a RCA to jack lead, then bobs your uncle, you've a jack lead connection directly into the radio. You press "DISC" twice on your radio to hear audio from the ipod, (pressing it the first time you just get whatever CD you've in!).

The price of the unit is around the 80 mark in Ireland, however sourced from England its about E29 plus postage and packaging. Hope this helps!

Oh and as im sure you've guessed, going down this track requires you to take the radio out to insert the lead, securing the "box" behind the air con controls and finding a suitable place to bring the jack lead out, to connect to the ipod!

    hi,
had a look at the link, seems straight forward but expierance has taught me that it never is that easy. but will have a look and let you know how it goes.

can i ask tho, has anyone tried to do this?
ipodrocker, did you achieve what you set out to do?

i have those dabs for my ipod but would much prefer to get something set up with better music quality.

    Jazz
