According to this, it seems Mayweather is not going to fight Mosley after all. Not enough money in it for Floyd . How people keep defending this guy is beyond me. The article claims Mayweather is going to hold out and wants to renegotiate with Pac after his bout with Clottey. Why can't he fight Mosley and then Pac instead of staying inactive. I find this interesting as Pac would not give in to his demands and moved on yet Mayweather wants to renegotiate implying he is willing to alter the demands. Seems Mayweather needs Pac more than Pac needs Mayweather. PBF knows he will lose most of his remaining reasonable fans if he doesn't fight Mosley or Williams.

There is talks of Margarito and Pac in the future too. What do you think about that? I'd hate to see Margarito back tbh. Boxing has enough scummy characters in the game as it is.

Mosley is defo the harder fighter to beat than Pacman, and i believe the boxing public would go mad for that fight but he prob wants to make serious money with pacman before risking defeat against sugar shane and ruining his chance of the biggest pay day ever..

    sucks but money talks!

I think Pacquiao presents more movement and speed and momentum than Mosley.
He also presents more varied attacks and a higher intensity of pressure. Angles and power.

I couldnt get your link , so heres the report elsewhere .

It wouldnt surprise me if its true !
I never thought he'd fight a pre-40 year old Mosley.

I'll need to see more evidence than one article to believe the fight won't go through. Article is probably bullsh1t. Floyd needs this fight to happen, badly. If it doesn't come off everyone apart from the most deluded of PBF fanboys will say Mayweather scuppered it and ducked another fighter that might have troubled him. His credibility is already cracked, ducking a 39 year old Mosely will shatter it.

this was meant to be announced within 2 days ..... that was 2 weeks ago .

now it is reported that all is set , http://sports.yahoo.com/box/news?slug=ki-floydshane012810&prov=yhoo&type=lgns

Now , just a couple of additional clauses and any other edge M<ayweather can wrangle and we should be in business .

bet they'll have pillows on their hands come fight-night .....

Mosley by KO round 11 .

    The O must go

I won't hold my breath for this. Mayweather will look for ways out you can bet.

I'll take Floyd by clear UD should they meet. Shane is past it now and a good bit too. He won't be quick enough, a step behing throughout

Typical BS from Floyd. The guy is a joke and a disgrace to the sport.

    RETIRE.

I can't, for the life of me, see Mosley knocking Mayweather out. I think it's funny that Wild_Dogger genuinely believes this will happen.

In fairness just fighting Mosley is a big deal and will show me he is up for a fight, and if he schools him it just shows how good he is, This will not be an easy fight..

Oh I agree and I still believe Mosley has a little something left in the tank, but that is such a strange statement to make about the so called l4l best...

Now that the fight is a done deal, who do you think will come out on top?

My moneys on Mayweather by clear UD.

I agree. Mosley in his prime would have had a good chance but i think he's around 36 or 37 now. Mayweather will grind out an easy points victory.

Floyd will completely outbox him, I see Mosley getting tired after the 5-6th round, And Floyd completely dominating from there.....
Mosley didnt run out of gas against Marg because kept coming forward,
Mosley is gonna have to try find Floyd, They had the perfect game plan against Marg short punches in close, so he wouldnt run out of gas, he is going to have to punching long and use his jab which will be his downfall because it will tire him out,
Floyd by Wide UD, Maybe Towel thrown in in last 2 rounds

Mosley will KO floyd here .... I can see it happening .

Cant wait to make a few squid on this .
Early odds see floyd as 1/2 favourite ! .... well he'll be 1/4 favourite by fight night , if not smaller.

Mosley , like Hopkins continues to shock the odds and I always back both .
They said Mosley was past his prime 8 years ago !

Dont say I didnt told ya so bro

If anyone wants to make a donation to Paddy Power Holdings Ltd., then back Mosley.

If anyone wants free money then back Mayweather :pac:

It will be like finding a bag of cash on the street ......

I'll expect 4/1 or 9/2 for mosley come fight night on the exchanges .

Theres a reason why people wont fight Mosley ,.... now Mayweather has been forced into it , and he dosent like it !!

I'll be very keen to see what advantages Mayweather has eeked out in the contract .

Theres still plenty of time for a Mayweather "injury" .

Never thought Mayweather would fight Mosley pre-40 .

Mosley will be coming close to 39 years of age by fight night , with a 17 month break since his last fight .

No excuses - lets hope Mayweather gets the courage to keep to the contract .

Just sign the bloody thing please ,..... you greedy bugger.

And I'd like to know why the Poll is Anonymous :)

I'll be doing a list of people who owe apologies for trash backing Floyd in this fight .

Top of the list is Richie -richballs ,
closely followed by Pretty boy , and Adinhoc ...... Grrrrr ! :)

You should take the money you were going to bet, put it towards a massive loan and then put it all on Mosley :pac:

What are you talking about? Look at this video and get your facts straight in future.

"Floyd Mayweather's willing to go to 147 and fight Shane Mosley"
Never thought Mayweather would fight Mosley pre-40 .
    Well you thought wrong.
Mosley will be coming close to 39 years of age by fight night , with a 17 month break since his last fight .
The fight hasn't even been announced and you're already making excuses!
And I'd like to know why the Poll is Anonymous :)
I'll try and get a moderator to change it. I wonder what poor misguided person voted for Mosley :pac:
