Guardianship question

    I am very confused about this. There seems to be a widespread assumption that guardianship gives a non custodial parent equal authority over the child's religious, medical, and educational upbringing. But when I looked at the Guardianship of Infant's act 1964 I saw nothing there about any such rights.
