    http://www.mbrauer.com/

There's a lot of interesting info on this guy's site including his AES 2007 speech.

I'd heard the the name before but didn't know some of the stuff he'd done - including a lot of records I like including Coldplay's Yellow, Athlete's Wires, Kook's Naive, Suddenly I see by KT Tunstall and that new Bravery track, Slow Poison.

    Cool stuff all around.

His multibuss technique makes for interesting reading.
    Really like his work.

.... and quite a few The 4 of US records I see.

I always though that New Radicals record sounded great too.

Good to see he's a guy who shares ideas which I admire as opposed to the secrecy of lesser talents.

I guess part of that sharing is the feedback he gets that will probably trigger other ideas..... a bit like good old Boards.ie!

Brauer is a genius, my favorite mix engineer. It's how music should sound!

I agree , he seems to leave a bit of 'stubble' on the mix rather than shaving it too tight, which gives stuff a human feel.

Something like The Wombats 'Moving to New York' simultaneously sounds like a Radio record AND a bunch of young lads jumping up and down in a room ... and all the better for that.
