New Car (€15k CtC Budget)

A relative is changing their car and asked for some advice.

They're currently driving an 02 Polo, 1.2 60 HP base model with 100k miles on the clock. The car looks it's age, and probably isn't worth a great deal.

They know it won't qualify for the Govt scrappage scheme but with the various manufacturers vying for business, they're interested to find out what they could get as a trade in.

Budget is €15k (cost to change), the only other requirement is that it has air conditioning.

The obvious choice would be the new Polo, but I'm not sure if a Comfortline spec (includes a/c) would fall within budget.

The Comfortline does have it, so does the Highline but not the entry level Trendline.

You will get a Comfortline on budget without even trading the polo in and possibly get the diesel comfortline using the Polo possibly.
