Im sure you guys get this all the time but I did a search and couldn't find any....

Basically me and 3/4 friends are looking into arranging a post leaving cert hol. We are looking for somewhere cheap and were the language barrier wont be too bad. We dont really want to go to spain or the usual places and are looking for something a bit alternative. None of us really like sun holidays so thats not an issue :) In all honesty we are looking for a bit of an adventure and not really a booze trip. Any recommendations or suggestions would be great :) We wont mind roughing it or anything either. Budget wise we are looking at approx 500 Euros each.

    Thanks

Why dont you just go to the Ryanair site and click on the destination map.. they fly most places in Europe.

Anywhere futher you would have to budget a little more for flight and hotels.

Use Alpharooms to book your hotels or apartments. They tend to be very cheap for rooms.

You can find something out of the ordinary no matter where you go.. but East Euro citys tend to be a little ODD!!!
Have you thought of inter-railing either??

    Mainland Spain maybe?

You can have best of both worlds "party and adventure".

Get a flight to Barcelona and work your way down the coast. Portaventura, Valencia, Alicante. From there you could get a boat to Ibiza.

Maybe spend 2-3 nights in each.
