Issue with Three Rock trial DTT reception

    Hey folks,

    I'm picking up the mux on Ch 54 at 60% signal strength and 100% quality with one of the humax HDCI-2000 boxes that the Dept. of communications gave out. Same as ever really. The channel and radio list is there like normal too.

    ...except I am receiving no signal on any channel! I'm not receiving any EPG data, teletext, visual or sound. Or even the clock.

    When I perform an automatic scan it picks up the mux, detects the channels and I select add. This does nothing to help however.

    Any help?!

    P.S. I looked around on the first page's posts on the forum to make sure I'm not missing anything obvious, apologies if I am.

    Its not a trial!

    Your Humax HDCI 2000T box.

    Go to "restore to default" settings in the menu. The password is 0000.

    Your box will reboot. Go through the setup. And scan. That will sort it for you. (note the antenna power turns itself off on doing this - so if you use it antenna power to power an indoor aerial then go into antenna power afterwards and turn it back on. Same password.

    This sorts out these issues time on the Humax time and time again when RTENL make changes.

    Chill, it was a virtual "slip of the tongue":) I know they're doing engineering tests.

    Thanks for that, it worked. Interestingly, I hadn't suffered with this issue before but I put that down to having previously found the "restore to default" option.
