Does anyone know how to change "Protected ACC files" to "Purchased ACC files". I bought all my songs on Itunes and I recently got a new Ipod touch and it wont play any of the songs purchased before I bought the Ipod. Even though I bought them all from the same account.

I bought a song last week to see if it would play and it is the only one that will play on my Itouch. It is also the only song that says it is a "purchased ACC file".

    Hope some one can help!!

Very simple way to get around the DRM is to burn the tracks to an mp3 CDusing an iTunes playlist, then reimport the CD to iTunes, and they will be DRM free.

You should be able to upgrade your songs in the iTunes store but it will cost you a few cent per song. This will remove the DRM and give you better quality encoded files.

It is most likely to do with your account.

Are you 100% certain you are using the same iTunes account on the iPod Touch as with the iPod/iTunes? As in same account, same e-mail address and same credit card.
