    Hi

I have a sky subscription - my query is that on channel 4 (135) some programmes come up 'this programme is not available' - for instance Glee, One Tree Hill etc - Why does this happen

Channel 4 do not have the rights to show them in Ireland. Tune in the FTA version for such occasions.

Yep, the version of Channel 4 (with Irish ad's) that Sky give you have many programmes blocked (generally imports and movies). Plenty of info here of how to tune in one of the other Channel 4 regions with nothing blocked.

Once you have added one of them, you can access it via other channels when you want to view a blocked programme. (It will not be recordable with Sky+ though.)

Glee is available on TV3 (103) and 3e (105) while One Tree Hill is available on TG4 (104).
