Legality of Lasers

    Was gonna get one on dealextreme. Whats the power limit on them here? Was a green one also if that matters. Am sure a few on here must have one or two.

    Got one of the red pen lasers from dealextreme. Try to get one that takes AAA batteries, as the other batteries aren't the easist to get, and are usually expensive.

    Seems they are legal, but be carefull where you use it.

    Taken from the charter over on the airsoft forum:
    Only lasers that meet the following criteria are legal in Ireland:

    - lasers of less than 5 milli Watts
    - in the light frequencies of 630 to 680nm

    Which means that all Blue and Green lasers (which are out side of light frequencies of 630 to 680nm) are illegal
