Does anybody know of good luthiers around the north-east or Dublin that would do a full 22 refret? It would be a basic refret, no fancy binding to remove or anything like that. I have heard of Derek Nelson alright.

Any how much, roughly for the refret?

It will cost €250 plus minus a few quid
I got a few Quotes for a peavey T60 i have but in the end i did it myself
Not for the faint hearted but it worked out fine in the end:D

No idea of prices Darren, Derek Nelson does seem to be the go to guy though.

Frank Tate is another luthier, based in the city centre though -North Great Georges St. to be exact. He does some sterling work, built Rodrigo & Gabriellas accoustics for them and has had the design used by Yamaha apparently. In fairness he's done work for me too so ya take the good with the bad :D.

Haven't used him in a long time, his number back then was 086 3555700. Could be worth a shout.

Hmm, weird- his phone number doesn't show up? PM me if you want it.

Thanks for that. BTW, the number shows up now for me.
€250 nicker is more than the Charvel would be worth. So maybe it's time to do a crash course in guitar repairing. I think the GAS has subsided with me, as i don't think i can buy anything else anymore. So the next phase is to do the refurbishing on a few yokes. Pimp up the boring axes i think.

I will try a few people that were suggested, but this would not be worthy of €250 refret. I was going to do a respray too, so maybe i can practice on this one.
