Where to get one inch squard sheets of galvanised weldmesh in Galway/Mayo?

    Hi folks,

    I thought I'd try asking in here. I'm looking for 8x4 foot sheets of one inch square weldmesh, I'm not sure of the gauge, but if any of ye have seen live catch mink traps, that'd be the stuff they're mostly made from. Anyone got any ideas for me? Failed me to source it locally.

    Irish International Trading in Cork are the main importer for weldmesh.If you contact them they might give you details of a local supplier.

    theres a guy in craughwell kennedy steel who stocks all sorts of steel and if he hasnt got it in stock he can get it.
    theres also coen steel in oranmore who have a lot of stuff in stock.

    Thanks guys,

    I had already contacted Coen Steel, got some 2x2 of same from them for making magpie and greycrow traps. Salesman said they had 1x1 also, but when brother in law was collecting the lads told him they never had it :confused:

    I'll give those other two companies a ring, thanks again.
