Pentax SP1000 battery

    I'm sure i've seen this answered on boards before but can't seem to find it.

    I have a pentax SP1000 but i need a new battery. It's called a PX400. I'm told they are mercury based and so are no longer for sale in the EU.

    But is there a replacement battery that i can use, and where would I be able find it? Dublin, Cork or Limerick would be best.
