Finishing circuit goes pretty close to mine also

It's a great day out in Skerries, and I'll certainly be walking down into town with the kids to watch the finish.

I was standing at the top of the hill on the road between Balrothery and Skerries as the bunch came to the first circuit of the finishing circuit.Basically under neath my nose 1 of the riders from Team sigma sport went down face first and wasnt getting back up. I stood over him to stop team cars running over him (ala jesper skibby in Flanders 87)I pushed his bike to the side of the road but when he was carted away and all that was left was his team car about to pull off I noticed his bike where I left it>I grabbed it and gave it to his team car who had completly forgotten about it otherwise a nice Spesh with sram Red would have been all lonely and looking for a new home.

I think bcmf is being modest here, The rider was serious injured and could have been very seriously injured without his intervention.
I'm not going to go as far as saying he saved a life but not far off it ....

i pity the poor feckers that are coming over to race on our roads ,there in for a bumpy week.

Yeah that was Matt Stephens. Former brit champ. Rode the giro with Linda McCartneys.

Ended up with a dislocated jaw after his ras crash as far as i know.

i drive aughrim ,carnew to bunclody every day ,in a landrover . i will have to replace ball joints and shocks if i dont get this job in glenmalure done soon.

some one should make a full suspension road bike for the irish market ,they would be on to a winner .
