    Hi ,
I am looking for as good as i can ger prices for kingspan k3 kooltherm prices. I am ideally looking for 100mm k3 and would need 52 8 by 4 sheets.

Secondly, has anyone used kingspan seconds as they do appear to be alot cheaper. I had a look at some seconds and other than a few panels that had rough edges or a few rips they looked perfect.
Any comments would be much appreciated.

Ring round a few builders providers and see how you get on.

    just on the kooltherm insulation

it can be approx 40% more expensive than standard polyiso insulation.
the 2 main benefits of kooltherm are

    - its a fire board.
    - polyiso would be 110mm compared to 100mm kooltherm.
there is about 8% difference between the two in terms of the thermal conductivity when you get above 45mm.

if you can afford a little more space and need to achieve the uvalue then the saving on the standard polyiso would be alot, especially if you have a big space.

guide price for polyiso 100mm could be north of 11+vat p/sqm

    Thanks irelanhouse,

Polyiso is just about possible in terms of u values and space requirements in my build. I am getting just over 11 euro per sq/m on seconds so you are there or there abouts. What are the rest of the country getting on prices. I hope to get well south of 16 euro new.
Many thanks for your input. I thought muffler was having a joke first.
