Picked up one of these in B+Q today. Brilliant value. They were €100 when they first came out. Now €15

lots of return in atlantic homecare in galway, you can only use paint pod tubs, normal paint gets blocked in noozles, thinner or weaker paint the lad told me in paint pods, no range of colours either, stay clear

I've one of these and I think it's great. If there are lots of returns because people can't be bothered reading the box you can hardly blame the product. I knew it was designed to use special paint-pods (it's advertised as such) and they've a grand range of colours. Sure you can't get special mixes but for painting at home it's great. Has a fantastic triangular brush for corners and edges too. Very clean system too. I'd have no problem recommending it to someone for a spot of DIY

We have one too and the husband swears by it. At this price, it's a bargain because I think we paid €69 and thought that was cheap :(

I suppose you can't just thin down some ordinary paint for use in this?

    No worries.

They are great for painting. Just moved in to a new place and have been using the mini one for a good bit. The full one is meant to be better forself cleaning.

You change your mind you know where I am

He obviously isn't very good at his job. Those customers probably didn't use the Paint Pod correctly hence having to bring it back to the store. I've heard many people saying they are brilliant, and swear by them.

You could try Athlone, probably a bit further though.

Even their website says it's £59.98, I'd also be interested to hear which store you got it.

One of the guys in work went to the B&Q in liffey valley and they were 100euros and the manager didn't know anything of the offer.

What's the story with the paint pods?
Are they much more expensive than a regular tin of dulux?

Given the post re the €100 price tag in Liffey Valley, do we have confirmed availability of these @€;15 in the Dublin area?

Just went over to B&Q in Liffey Valley to check the price, they are €69.99. Asked the lady to check and told her about the €15 and she looked it up and said nothing on the system about any special offer

I picked one up in Waterford yesterday evening. It's to do with left over stock in some stores as a new model is arriving next week I think.

From what I hear, the supplier couldn't take the old stock away within a certain time period so they told the stores to sell them off for €15

Same in Swords, but the price was €67.99.
