anyone hear anything regarding the actual release date of iphone directly from vodafone?

i've heard february mentioned, also march.

i've made efforts to get one via IOS but vodafone have basically told me to get stuffed each time because i'm still on prepaid (IOS only for network changers or people entitled to upgrades apparently)

Hey carplates, VF rang me last Wednesday to say they were sending in my order for my iphone as IOS eventually got some stock in. The girl in the store said that IOS will phone me within 24 hours to confirm the delivery and address. Once this happens I was told I would have the phone within 2 days. IOS still havent phoned me. I am starting to lose the plot. What a crap set up!!! Where in the country are you? I wonder would Dublin stores get their orders prioritised

I heard rumours that IOS phones are unlocked to work using any network SIM. Can you confirm?

They are indeed, mine is here running a VF and Meteor sim when the mood takes me. Vodafone cannot lock or brand them until their release date which is rumoured to be march.

Not sure about whether they are unlocked or not. They could be as they are only supplying to Vodafone. You could ring IOS and ask them. They are not very forthcoming with their information. I have rang them a few time in the last couple of weeks and I think the nicer you are to them over the phone, the more information they will give. The number for IOS is 0871783203. Hope this helps. Let me know the answer?

What are the deals from VF on iPhone?

Just tried that number and got the mailbox is full and cannot accept more messages!
