Hello, unfortunately I slipped and broke the screen of my new laptop, the rest of it is working as normal as I hooked it upto my monitor, but the screen is smashed and useless basically.

    This is the laptop

I rang them but they do not do replacement parts, just repairs but it will almost cost as much as i brought the laptop for, I am not covered by insurance either.

This is an LED screen and not LCD screen so looks like it will be hard to replace. I had a look for replacement 15.6 LED screens but could not find any, Is there a way to order a third party replacement screen or am I stuck with a broken laptop. By the way I am new to laptops, ANY help would be really appreciated.

    Thanks

    Hey Sillysausage,
Yeah you'll be able to get a new screen. Only way of knowing which LED panel is in your is by opening up your laptop. 15.6" LED panel come in different specs. some have connector on right other have it on the left
